The Site Administrator Technician will serve as the primary technical and administrative contact within correctional facilities, addressing inquiries and maintaining inmate call control systems. This dual‑role position requires strong data entry, customer‑service, and technical skills to troubleshoot and service various telecommunications technologies.

• Troubleshooting, correcting, and servicing issues with inmate technology systems, including basic telephone repair and maintenance.
• Hardware troubleshooting: defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Proficient with telephony and networking, including copper, CAT5/6, and fiber optic wiring, wiring color code knowledge, and data cabling fabrication.
• Wiring troubleshooting: tracing, repairing, or replacing damaged wiring and performing repairs on 66‑blocks or cutoff switches.
• Maintaining, repairing, and operating onsite telecommunications hardware, networking hardware/software, access points, and various electronic equipment at assigned facilities.
• Meeting all service requirements set forth by the customer contract.
• Building and maintaining working relationships with facility personnel, customer contacts, vendors, and contractors to resolve onsite technical problems.
• Managing time effectively and controlling service‑related expenses.
• Delivering prompt and effective service resolution to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Providing onsite instruction and training for site personnel as needed.
• Maintaining stringent security guidelines in jail and prison environments.
• Returning damaged or inoperable equipment per the Return Merchandise Authorization process.
• Performing basic troubleshooting of tablet functionality, applications, and Wi‑Fi connectivity where applicable.
• Safely driving a company or personal vehicle to facilities throughout the assigned state.
• Traveling daily to customer sites, with potential overnight trips.
• Operating scheduled and/or unscheduled overtime work assignments and after‑hours callouts.

• 2+ years of telecommunications experience, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting (phones, video visitation systems, TTY/VRS units, Wi‑Fi/APs).
• 2+ years of computer/network installation and repair experience; knowledge of VLAN, advanced network configurations, telecom, and VoIP preferred.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office, and other required software.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Daily travel throughout the assigned area; overnight travel possible.
• Consistent passing of criminal background screens.
