We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for our global client in Richmond or Mclean, VA.

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will:

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios across multiple lines of business
• Work within and across agile teams to scope out, design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies
• Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
• Continually improve software engineering practices
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
• Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting edge technologies, inclusion, outside of the box thinking, team work, self-organization, and diversity

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of full stack development experience in Java
• At least 3 years of user experience testing
• At least 3 years of experience in CI/CD deployment
• At least 3 years of experience in configuration management
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud services

• Master’s degree in Computer Science
• 3+ years of experience in Agile
• 1+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architectures
• 1+ years of experience with RDBMS and Map Reduce
• Implementation of authentication and authorization solutions
• Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and other collaboration and tracking tools
• Familiarity with code versioning in Git Hub
