** Overview
* * Works under the supervision of the Aquatics Manager. Lifeguards are responsible for general supervision, safety, maintenance and excellent customer service.

** What you will do*
* * Has a neat professional appearance, with rescue tube properly placed, while maintaining proper surveillance of patrons and guests. Greets members and guest when entering the pool area with a nod of acknowledgement when possible, using names when appropriate.
* Works assigned shifts, or finds an appropriate substitute following all proper procedures and documentation.
* Supervises and controls all activity in the pool area and on the patio so that a safe environment is maintained.
* Responsible for monitoring and appropriately recording water quality, temperature and appropriate fill levels in pool and whirlpool.
* Maintains clean environment, proper equipment storage and completes scheduled shift duties. Ensures the pool is prepared in a timely manner prior to the start of scheduled activities.  
** Qualifications*
* ** Education*
* * High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)  
** Experience*
* * 1 year Lifeguard experience (Preferred)  
** Licenses and Certifications*
* * Lifeguard - American Red Cross (ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
* First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
* Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
