- Prepare repair orders by detailing symptoms, problems, and necessary repairs based on technician submissions
- Verify accuracy of VMRS codes and ensure billing hours align with standard repair times
- Generate invoices based on repair orders, applying customer-specific rates and mark-ups
- Improve the quality of repair orders by identifying and correcting weak points to minimize customer disputes
- Communicate with customers via email, fax, or phone to obtain purchase order approvals and address billing issues
- High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a related field, or a combination of education and experience totaling 5 years
- Proficiency with Mitchell One or similar estimating systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and software navigation for generating estimates and processing invoices
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Experience in service writing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Existing knowledge of standard repair times for common services
- Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and action-oriented approach to daily tasks
- Maintains a professional yet friendly demeanor, especially when dealing with frustrated customers
