As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for performing distribution center shipping/receiving functions. You will be an essential part of moving product accurately and safely throughout the Distribution Center.

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee
• Complete all documents related to shipping and/or receiving tasks
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts
• Maintain good sanitation practices and keep the work area clean
• Suggest process or procedure improvements to maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs

• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• High School Education
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment

• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 80 lbs repetitively
• Ability to meet production standards set by the company
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
• Must be able to work the required schedule to perform duties
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)
