Registered Nurse ($10,000 Sign-on Bonus)

Essential Job Functions- Provides nursing services and health care to Grafton clients, monitoring health and documenting treatments.
- Administers medications, monitors reactions, and records changes in client medication plans.
- Attends to clients who admit themselves as sick or injured (Sick call).
- Assists with psychological reviews, schedules appointments with providers and dentists, and attends specialty appointments.
- Contacts parents or legal guardians to discuss medical issues and treatment status.
- Works on‑call duty in rotation, promptly responding to immediate nursing service calls.
- Provides hepatitis B, flu vaccines, and PPD testing to Grafton staff.
- Conducts in‑service staff training on nursing and medication administration.
- Promotes and assists in controlling communicable disease.
- Contributes the medical perspective to multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Participates in facility meetings and committees as needed.
- Prepares health service forms such as medication permission forms and on‑call sheets.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license from the State Board of Nursing.
- 1–2 years of experience providing nursing services or equivalent training/experience.
- Thorough knowledge of practical nursing techniques.
- Computer proficiency, strong communication skills, and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Starting at $38.48 up to $51.29 per hour, commensurate with experience.
