The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Augusta Health strives to provide top notch, holistic care for a diverse group of patients and is looking for both new and experienced nurses to join our team. We are a newly renovated 14-bed unit where new and experienced nurses will stretch their skill sets with a patient population involving cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, and complex surgical patients with interventions that include, but not limited to, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Intra-Aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and Therapeutic Hypothermia.

We currently have a Registered Nurse (RN) position open on our ICU . The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Must have a strong desire to work with a high-risk and complex patient population.
• Must have solid critical thinking skills and a strong application of the nursing process.
