American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a community hospital requiring a VA or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a community hospital
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Use of EPIC electronic medical records is required
• Patients are adult Med/Surg Telemetry cases
• Floating within nursing scope may be required
• Locals are accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
• First-time travelers with at least 1-2 years of experience are welcome to apply
• Return staff must not have worked at the facility within the past twelve months
• All candidates must comply with the facility's drug-free, tobacco-free, and natural nail policies
• Must complete required orientation modules during the first week
• Med/Surg Tele nurses are responsible for providing comprehensive care to adult patients requiring telemetry
• Background check will be conducted prior to employment
• Holiday coverage may be required as time off is not guaranteed
• Any time off requests must be declared in advance for approval

• Active VA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 12 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing school (Diploma, Associate’s, or BSN)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required
• BSN preferred
