Job SummaryThe primary purpose is to provide a safe environment, give emotional and social support, and attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort in an SNF setting. Performs direct care to residents as assigned, in accordance with the resident’s care plan and supervisor’s direction. Performs other duties as directed by representatives of the community and follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to residents based on care plans.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor residents’ health status, report changes, and document care.
- Follow infection control and sanitary procedures.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to support resident well‑being.
- Perform additional duties as directed by facility representatives.
- Current registration/certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state where you will work.
- Valid CNA license or eligibility to obtain it within the state’s requirements.
- Good standing within applicable laws of the state.
- Basic interpersonal skills and compassion for residents.
