Nurse Manager in ER

Nurse Manager - Emergency Room - Acute Care Facility

Newbridge Recruiting Group LLC is working with our client to fill a Nurse Manager Position in Tazewell County, VA. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department ofat a leading healthcare facility. This is a full-time, permanent position.

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Emergency Room department
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Monitor and maintain staffing levels and schedules to meet patient needs
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback
• Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
• Participate in budget planning and management for the department
• Serve as a resource for staff and patients, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Stay current with developments and advancements in Emergency Room nursing and implement best practices as appropriate

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
• Current and valid RN license in Virginia is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with a focus on emergency care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for healthcare facilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
