Clinical Administrator OverviewThe Clinical Administrator serves as an administrative resource and performs management functions on the non-business hours (evenings, nights, holidays and weekends) for the institution. The Clinical Administrator assists hospital staff in problem‑solving service delivery issues between and within departments. Clinical Administrator provides an administrative presence to address patient/family issues related to service delivery. The Clinical Administrator also identifies systems problems during non‑business hours ( primitively on the off‑shifts and weekends) that contribute to service delivery issues.
Ass week's staff in problem‑solving related to the medical and/or nursing care of patients. Coordinates bed assignments and problem‑solves barriers related to throughput or patient disposition. The Clinical Administrator may, at times, perform direct patient care appropriate to their level of knowledge, skill and training.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
- Current RN licensure in Virginia
- AHA, BLS, HCP Certification or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of acute care clinical experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing management experience
- Five (5) years of acute care clinical experience ingrediënten nurse manager or supervisory experience
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
- Masters Degree in Nursing or other related field from an accredited program terse
Has full authority and accountability for actions and decisions within the scope of the position description and hospital policies and procedures.
AdditionalPosition Requirements
Works with a small team to provide coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
