Aboutthe Practice
Crab Orchard Veterinary Services is a top-notch mixed-animal hospital with a highly-skilled team of 3 full-time DVMs. Our facilities are fully equipped with the latest technology, including a digital medical record system, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and a full in-house Idexx Laboratory system. Our hospital features four spacious exam rooms, a central treatment area, and a sterile surgical suite for safe and effective treatments.
We also have an isolation ward, Cubex drug tracking system, and a spacious boarding kennel for our furry friends. For larger animals, we offer a full haul-in facility, complete with a chute, 1m endoscope, and ultrasound capabilities.
New graduates and experienced DVMs are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities (implied from description)- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for mixed-animal patients
- Collaborate with a team of DVMs and support staff to deliver comprehensive veterinary services
- Utilize the facility’s equipment and technology to diagnose and treat patients
- Participate in a supportive, growth-oriented practice environment
- DVM degree and licensure to practice in the state of Virginia
- Ability to work with mixed or small animals (will consider either or both)
Salary range: $110K base + commission over base production for new graduates; $120K base + commission over base production for experienced veterinarians.
