Brambleton Community Association (BCA) is a developing, large-scale planned community located in Northern Virginia with over 6,800 settled units. The community will grow over the next several years to over 7,600 units to become Loudoun County's largest homeowners’ association. Join Our Team as a Parks & Grounds Technician!Brambleton Community Association is seeking a dependable and motivated Parks & Grounds Technician to help keep our award-winning community looking its best. This is a hands‑on role for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, being a team player, and making a visible impact every day.
This position is primarily responsible for the care, upkeep, and appearance of the Association’s parks, common areas, and amenities. This includes landscape planting, removal, watering, turf renovation, trash and litter removal, storm cleanup, snow removal, and the upkeep and maintenance of water features. The position also provides operational support for community events, programs, and facility users. All work is performed to maintain a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment that reflects the Association’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
Whatyou’ll do
- Perform detailed landscaping and trail maintenance, including pruning, planting, aerating, and over seeding
- Conduct litter and trash removal, storm cleanup, and debris clearance throughout community parks and facilities
- Maintain and care for water features, such as fountains and ponds, to ensure proper operation and cleanliness
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and grounds preparation for community events and programs
- Perform snow and ice removal tasks, including shoveling, plowing, salting, and sanding walkways, trails, and parking areas during winter months
- Safely operate, maintain, and clean equipment such as utility vehicles, tractors, mowers, small‑engine tools, and snowplows
- Track and document completed work in the work order system to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents, contractors, and colleagues while representing BCA’s values
- Strong mechanical aptitude to perform a range of basic carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical tasks
- General knowledge of maintenance tasks, landscaping techniques, and grounds procedures
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and contribute as a strong team player
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions
- Availability for snow removal and seasonal responsibilities
