Location: Yorkshire

Are you an experienced veterinary surgeon seeking a dynamic and supportive environment to advance your career? Look no further. My client in South Yorkshire is on the hunt for a dedicated vet to join their vibrant team. Offering a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum (DOE, FTE), this role promises both professional growth and personal satisfaction.

Imagine working in a bright, spacious, and air-conditioned surgery, purpose-built to industry-leading standards. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a dedicated operating theatre, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, rigid endoscopy, laparoscopy, and advanced dentistry facilities, you’ll have all the tools you need to provide top-notch care.

Flexibility is key. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, the practice is open to accommodating your needs, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. The role includes 1 in 3 or 4 Saturday mornings (9am – 12pm), with no out-of-hours, Sundays, or Bank Holidays (except Good Friday), ensuring you have a healthy work‑life balance.

The practice is locally run, supported by an exceptional team including Practice Manager, 3 full-time Vets, 1 part‑time Vet, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 1 VCA. This close‑knit team is committed to providing top‑class clinical and client care, making a real difference in their community.

You’ll benefit from a generous CPD allowance, an additional week’s holiday after one year of service, your birthday off and exclusive company discounts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and be confident in routine soft tissue surgery and consultations. The role may include some sole charge, offering you the chance to showcase your skills and grow professionally.

Join a practice where pets and their owners come first, and where you can thrive as part of a fun and friendly team. If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, don’t hesitate to apply.
