A well-established partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its dynamic team in Chesapeake, VA / Virginia Beach, VA

- Urgent Care Only – No Wellness Visits or Abdominal Surgeries

- Skilled Technical Support Team & Modern, Purpose-Built Facilities
- Relationship-Based Approach to client and patient care in a community-centered setting
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of urgent medical cases
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform minor surgeries as needed (no abdominal surgeries required)
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient medical records
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
This role is perfect for veterinarians who:
- Have a DVM/VMD (or ECFVG/PAVE certification)
- Hold or can obtain a valid Virginia veterinary license
Have experience in urgent care or emergency medicine - Excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Are dedicated to compassionate, community-focused veterinary care
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Passion for urgent care medicine and continued professional development
