Company Description  Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown, Virginia is GROWING! We are looking to add an  emergency veterinarian  to our awesome veterinary team! Our ideal veterinarian candidate would be open to working nights and weekends. Weekday shifts are 5:30pm to 8am. Both day and overnight shifts are available on the weekends.  At Animal Emergency Center Yorktown, we're not just a team, we're a passionate community that thrives on making a difference for animals and the people who love them.

We are proud to deliver top-notch emergency care for pets in our community, and for the pet parents who care for them. At our state-of-the-art emergency and critical care hospital, we care for small animals and some exotic pets. We offer laser therapy, hospitalization, bloodwork (Abaxis blood machine), and most emergency surgeries. Our facility is equipped with everything you need to provide top-tier emergency care:

Job Description  Are you a passionate and experienced veterinarian with a strong interest and background in emergency medicine? Do you want to play a pivotal role in bringing this Emergency Hospital to the next level and leading a new team?
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a  leadership position  where you'll guide the development of our after-hours emergency care.
You'll provide essential emergency medicine to patients when they need it most, all while working with a talented support team and helping shape the protocols and flow of this beautiful hospital.

Qualifications  Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Active Veterinary State License
