Job Responsibilities:

  • Review materials and supplies at reception using product specifications and requirements to ensure conformance. This includes verification against bills of materials, COA’s, etc.
  • Support organizational projects where the employee can add support or value.
  • Disposition products and/or materials that do not meet specifications or requirements, including labeling, BAAN system transfers, and physical containment of non-conforming products or materials.
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work practices for conformance to specifications using drawings, test data, SOPs, and testing manuals.
  • Notify supervision, management, and other personnel of non-conformances such as GMPs.
  • Assist in identifying problems and providing solutions, communicating inspection results, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Conduct product inspections/testing as per sampling plan, recording results electronically or manually.
  • Perform scheduled quality and process system audits.
  • Verify process critical control points (CCPs) as outlined in the HACCP manual, following reaction plans for non-conformances.
  • Report all work-related injuries and near misses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor to contribute to operational success.
  • Job Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Preferred certifications: ASQ Quality Certifications, HACCP, Six Sigma, LEAN.
    • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in quality assurance or related manufacturing fields.
    • Experience in plastics, extrusion, printing, metrology, and forming operations preferred.
    • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
