At the Virginia BBQ and Pizza Company, we offer our guests a variety of quick-service food options. We strive to assemble our pizzas quickly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction. As a large-scale resort food and beverage establishment, we require vibrant and energetic employees who always keep the guest experience top of mind. The Pizza Artist is responsible for cooking duties, including food preparation and cleaning/maintenance of all food prep areas.

Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen is required, and candidates must be able to uphold safety and sanitation policies.

Required

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic kitchen and food handling skills
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Preferred

• Prior experience working in a pizza parlor

Varies depending on business demands and project loads

Core Responsibilities

• Properly and safely prepare and cook quality food items in an efficient manner
• Assure food is stored at safe temperatures and labeled correctly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in food prep and cooking areas
• Clean and sanitize work areas and food preparation equipment
• Stock freezers and coolers
• Provide quality food and excellent customer service
• Uphold standards of conduct, cleanliness, and food quality and safety
• Safely use and maintain cooking utensils and equipment
• Other duties as assigned by management
