Job Summary
Hotel Cleveland is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable AM Barista to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality coffee and breakfast service to our guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, has a positive attitude, and enjoys being part of a team that creates memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities Barista Duties- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages with consistency and attention to detail
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized coffee station
- Upsell pastries, breakfast items, and specialty beverages
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Greet guests promptly and warmly in the restaurant or lobby dining area
- Take and deliver breakfast orders accurately and efficiently
- Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and accommodate dietary needs when possible
- Set and clear tables, restock service stations, and maintain overall cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
- Previous experience as a barista and/or server in a hotel, café, or restaurant preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Full-time and Part-time
- Morning shifts typically begin between 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM
The starting hourly wage for this position is between $16 + tips. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
