Job SummaryResponsible for the collection and count of games’ cash boxes from the gaming floor and the cash and ticker count conducted in the count room in accordance with Internal Control Policies and Procedures and state regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide next-level guest service to internal and external guests; demonstrate the Add Life culture in all interactions.
- Foster an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
- Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with procedures and regulations.
- Perform drop by collecting drop boxes from slots and table games in accordance with Internal Control Policies and Procedures.
- Record accurate counts in the count system/sheet and reconcile amounts with other Count Team Members.
- Comply with department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations.
- Prepare paperwork to support and reconcile money and vouchers counted.
- Operate count machines and coin rollers according to guidelines.
- Assist other Count Team Members in moving the box cart up to 400 pounds, multiple times per week.
- Count and verify bundled and loose cash transactions to and from the cashier.
- Resolve problems within scope of authority and escalate beyond scope to supervisor when needed.
- Keep supervisor informed of relevant activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcohol, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of department policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Understand the Property’s programs addressing problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Six months of previous work experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in cash handling is preferred.
Virginia Racing Commission License;
Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
The role requires typical physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and communicating. May lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Noise level is moderate to loud. The employee may circulate through assigned areas, including smoking areas, to observe operations.
