Insurance Sales Agent - Heathsville

Overview

Virginia Farm Bureau desires to hire an Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in the Northumberland Main County Farm Bureau Office located in Heathsville, VA.

If you are driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and serve community members and organizations, this position is for you.

• Provide insurance product information and guidance to customers.
• Review and service an existing book of business for W-2 employee agents.
• Meet sales goals through new business and cross-selling opportunities.
• Participate in sales and systems training and ongoing professional development.

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently.
• Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required.
• Goal-oriented and driven to succeed.
