What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying a firearm in accordance with licensing and training requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within and around the government facility.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and report them according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary to support incident response at the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
