Security Officer Armed Patrol - Resort in Locust Grove, VA (Part Time).

As a part‑time Security Officer you will monitor and patrol assigned hotel and resort areas to help deter security‑related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. Your driving and armed post involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence as an armed security professional.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding security‑related incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
• Assist guests and staff with security‑related questions and provide directions or information as needed.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  
  Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
