• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed security-related protocols as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
