Schedule:

9/80 – Employees work 9 out of every 14 days (80 hours total), with every other Friday off. Availability on any shift, weekends, holidays, and on‑call as required is mandatory.

This position reports directly to the Associate Manager of Facilities under the Facilities Manager. The Facility Technician (Electrician) will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics, and local instructions. Familiarity with OSHA and NEC standards is required. Work will be performed on facilities, production equipment, and in general maintenance activities.

• Electrical Maintenance – Troubleshoot and repair plant manufacturing equipment; perform preventive maintenance (40 %).
• Installation of new equipment and electrical infrastructure such as upgraded panels, transformers, and generators (50 %).
• 6S general shop upkeep, cleaning, or organizing (10 %).

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience,

* * a 2‑year post‑secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience. A Virginia Journeyman electrician license is strongly preferred.

• Strong electrical experience or training in industrial repair.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong safety and environmental awareness.
