Job SummaryMOR PPM Inc. is looking for a Helper in Skippers, VA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Identify all tools required for tasks.
- Operate machinery as qualified.
- Load/unload and place materials needed.
- Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
- Assist journeyman in daily tasks and work orders.
- Assist on any miscellaneous construction processes.
- Clean up work areas.
- Knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
- At least 6 months as an industrial helper in an industrial construction environment. Prefer helpers with 2 years or more experience in pulp and paper or manufacturing environment.
- Complete hiring paperwork electronically through Docu Sign.
- Complete Tappisafe online training.
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above.
- Move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.
- Have full range of motion consistent with age.
- Be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
- Be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises.
- Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
