Entry Level Data Center Technician

Job Description

We have multiple needs open for data center technicians. These technicians will be doing IT cabling on a grand scale. We have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for a large data center in Sandston, VA. We have openings for entry level and mid-level technicians!

Your role will be to assist the higher-level techs and the team leads in building out the infrastructure to include pulling cable, pulling fiber, learning color codes, learning how to punch down and terminate cable & fiber, installing cable trays and pathways, and build server racks, and assisting with electronic security installation.

Punctual and team player, able to flexible on hours. Looking for candidates that don’t mind working with their hands and who know how to use basic hand/power tools.

This is a great opportunity to get into the telecommunications field and learn the trade with little to no prior experience in the industry. This is an opportunity as well to advance your career in the data center/telecom industry.

You will be working in a large data center in Sandston, VA. Typically these locations are under construction of some form. Must be comfortable with heights.

Need to be able to handle the physical requirements of the role. Candidates must be comfortable wearing PPE (steel toe boots, vest, hard hat, goggles/glasses, and gloves)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Sandston, VA.
