Heavy Equipment Operator – Eastern Shore

Reports to:
Project Superintendent
- Operate heavy equipment to move and level materials, such as dirt, sand, and stone.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform rough and fine grade operations.
- Run a fill area and spread dirt in fill areas.
- Read slope stakes and cut/fill slopes to job specifications.
- Direct trucks and equipment for off‑load, stock, or spread of material loads.
- Dress and clean up job site at completion.
- Maintain equipment: water, oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments.
- Operate equipment in a safe and consistent manner.
- Work nights and weekends as required.
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
- High School Diploma Preferred.
- 3‑5 Years operating dozers for rough and fine grade operations.
- OSHA and/or MSHA certification a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret grade elevations and stakeout.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
