Maintenance Technician
To provide support to new and existing work within the business line.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plant mechanical and electrical systems.
- Under supervision, perform troubleshooting, calibration and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. Maintain inspection and maintenance records, operate monitoring systems, collect samples and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications typically include a high school education or GED.
- Must have understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and ability to solve practical problems.
- Must be able to recognize impending problems with mechanical and electrical systems and act accordingly to prevent system loss or damage.
- Effective communication skills and basic computer skills are required.
- Typically will have 1 to 3 years experience with emphasis on maintenance and repair.
