Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role supports the operation and maintenance of facility equipment and infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations at a distribution center.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as lift trucks, conveyors, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and diagnose problems that are not immediately apparent.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and related documentation.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and assist with general facility upkeep, including grounds and building maintenance.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to support repairs and operational needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment.
• Coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, mechanical automation, mechatronics or related areas.
• Preferred:
  Associates degree or higher in related fields such as mechatronics, electronics, or industrial maintenance.
• Active industry-recognized certification such as Certified Reliability and Maintenance Technician (CRMT) or Master Certified Electronics Technician (MCET).

The position is based in a large indoor warehouse facility supplying regional retail stores. The facility is currently undergoing upgrades and automation enhancements, providing an exciting opportunity to work with new technologies. The role involves using computers and maintenance systems, climbing ladders and stairs, and handling tools, equipment, and materials requiring manual dexterity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutherland, VA.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.70/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
