MajorPurpose
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing WFS's pipes, fittings, and associated fixtures according to specifications and plumbing codes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Installs and repairs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets
- Installs supports for pipes. equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
- Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
- Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
- Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building.
- Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipe fitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.
- Analyzes problems and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair.
- Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building.
- Other duties as required.
Moderate physical activity. Requires extensive movement. Work environment involves exposure to temperature extremes, electricity, and water. May be called in for work after hours.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements- 5 years of experience working in plumbing. Journeyman or Master preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC equipment
- Good verbal communication and computer skills
- Problem solver, self-motivated
High School Diploma or GED required

Salary Range: $25-$30 The School may consider higher salaries for exceptional, experienced candidates.
