C. Tyler Village in Lignum, Virginia.
We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus! ($500 after 90 days of employment and $500 after 180 days of employment).
Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our location on a 270-acre farm provides a nurturing treatment setting with a variety of therapy resources. We take a holistic approach to serving our children and meeting their physical, emotional and educational needs.

Pay
:
Starting at $19 to $23 an hour based on education and experience.

Youth Care Workers provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth at a residential treatment facility. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Youth Care Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
Youth Care Workers collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent;
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. ~6 months experience working with children preferred (paid or volunteer). Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
Work weeks consist of 3 weekdays (10:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and 1 weekend day (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM). Days of the week vary.
