- 8+ years of experience in software development / programming
- 5+ years of developing with .NET and ASP.NET and C#
- Experience with Azure base systems
- Team Foundations Server
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar data analytics platforms
- Experience with STIGS
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to details
- Highly analytical
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Current Security+ce certification
- Able to get a GSEC or MS Azure Data Fundamentals (MCADF) certification within 6 months
- Bachelor's Degree IT or Software Development
The ideal candidate will support all software development and integration tasks for the mission applications, including ALERTS, ACIS, and DRS. This candidate will also be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software. Designs, develops, and tests new application features, remediates defects, performs module integration, and validates system performance. Troubleshoots production problems relating to software applications. Help with the release/implementation and testing.
Apply coding and testing standards, security testing tools including "fuzzing" static-analysis code scanning tools, and conduct code reviews. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future project to management. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on the development team. Participate in the development of software user manuals.
Research, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on government requirements. Analyzes information to recommend, design, and plan development of new applications or modify existing ones.
