Job Description

TMC Technologies has recently been awarded a 5 year contract providing subject matter, systems engineering, software development, and test & evaluation expertise to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division’s (NSWCDD) Warfare Systems Engineering and Integration (V) Department.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on this new opportunity. While there is the potential for remote work, all personnel will initially be expected to work on-site in the Dahlgren area until performance is effectively established with the customer. Relocation assistance can be provided where applicable.

A TOP SECRET (or higher) security clearance is required.

Job Requirements

• TOP SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• 7+ years of experience in the following:

• Coding / analyzing one or more of the following programming languages to include C++, C, Python, and Batch.
• Java
• Understanding networking principles or familiar
• Coding within a publish/subscribe architecture and middleware
• Real time and non-real time operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Vx Works
• Model drive architecture tools and languages
• Assessing software complexity in quantitative terms and able to translate complexity to approximate time and cost to maintain
• Defining and tracking software metrics
• Assessing software changes for impacts relative to complexity and throughput
• Developing and assessing software development plans, software requirements documents, software design documents, interface design documents and specifications associated with SIM/STIM test cases.

• Dev Sec Ops  processes and principles.
• Agile methodology and SAFE Agile principles
• Experience and/or understanding of SCRUM Master principles or familiar
