Digital Engineering Software & Plugin Developer

Strategic Technology Consulting (STC), an Arcfield Company, is seeking a talented professional to join our team and fill a role on our Digital Engineering Tool Integration Team.

• Work independently as a contributor to a software development team.
• Expertise in agile software development of client applications using Java and Python.
• Integrate software applications with APIs for software tool extensibility.
• Model software architecture and system/software modeling using Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent tools, SysML, and UML.
• Apply systems engineering processes, methods, and tools to systems life cycles.
• Work with software test and automation frameworks, including model‑centric test executions, co‑simulation, and integrated modeling and simulation.
• Support digital engineering methodologies and tooling.
• Design cloud‑based software architectures and incorporate AI/ML principles.
• Specify, architect, and develop software applications including Cameo Systems Modeler plugins, integrations, web and cloud application development.
• Develop and maintain pipelines for software build tools.
• Code and test software applications to written specifications following industry standards.
• Occasionally provide customer‑facing demonstrations of software technology.

• Bachelor’s (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related data science field;
  PhD preferred.
• Experience in Java, Python, Maven, and client/Desktop application development.
• Software architecture and integration experience, including OpenAPI and cross‑application integration approaches.
• Model‑based systems engineering experience (3+ years) with SysML or UML.
• Cloud architecture and solutions knowledge.
• Database and web database administration, including Cassandra and other wide‑table databases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
• Preferred experience in cloud security and compliance.
• Preferred experience in pipeline development/management (Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops).
