We're looking for a Backend Engineer to be a foundational member of our Agile software development team. Your mission: to code, test, and maintain end-to-end applications that power our Machine Identity Platform (mIDP), ensuring uptime, speed, and reliability for our customers. You'll be involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from brainstorming user stories to hands‑on‑keyboard coding, and be a key contributor to our continuous integration and delivery processes.

• Full Lifecycle Development :
  Code, test, and maintain end-to-end applications that run clients, in enterprise network environments, and on blockchain networks.
• Agile Collaboration :
  Participate in the full Agile software development process, including brainstorming user stories, planning sprints, and conducting peer reviews.
• Continuous Integration :
  Develop unit and integration tests as a core part of your development process and contribute to our automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud‑Native Deployment :
  Use well-established orchestration and provisioning frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker to deploy and manage complex networks across cloud platforms.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving :
  Be ready for troubleshooting anywhere, whether it’s inside a client application or on one of 20 Docker containers running on a cloud instance.
• Secure Coding :
  Apply secure software development best practices to all aspects of your work.
• Cross‑Team Communication :
  Communicate effectively with Customer Success and product teams, translating complex development concepts into understandable terms.

• 2‑5 years of experience in a software engineering role
  , with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality, production‑ready work.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts and hands‑on experience with languages like Go, C++, or Java. (We're a Go shop).
• Deep knowledge of encryption and authentication standards (eg SSL, OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS).
• Experience developing backend, particularly networking and authentication‑focused applications

• Proficiency in orchestration and provisioning technologies

• Experience with at least one scripting language (eg Python, Bash).
