Senior Software Developer – Quantico, VA or Huntsville, AL

The Senior Software Developer will design, maintain, and implement complex software applications from high-level concepts and work in a production environment to deliver web-based query and reporting systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications in a production environment.
• Implement software tools that include system calls to third‑party tools and utilities.
• Develop large and complex software systems, web-based query and reporting systems, and microservices.
• Apply technical strategies to interconnect disparate software applications.
• Identify operational or management issues and implement solutions.

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• At least five (5+) years of experience in software development for systems in a production environment.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks, such as C#, Power Shell, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MS SQL, WPF, XML, Microservices Architecture, Angular, JavaScript, HTML.
• Experience identifying technical strategies to interconnect disparate software applications.
• Ability to design and author original software applications from observation of desired outcomes or vague original concepts.
• Able to implement solutions and identify operational or management issues.
• Experience with systems design, policy development, database development and management, and user interface development.
• Four-year degree in software development, computer science, or related field; or 10 years of experience in production environment if education not met.
