TMC Technologies has recently been awarded a 5‑year contract providing subject matter, systems engineering, software development, and test & evaluation expertise to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's (NSWCDD) Warfare Systems Engineering and Integration (V) Department. This role will work on‑site in the Dahlgren area initially, with the possibility of remote work after performance is established. Relocation assistance can be provided.

The start date for this position will be in late December 2025 or early January 2026. A TOP SECRET (or higher) security clearance is required.

• TOP SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following: C++, C, Python, Batch, Java
• Understanding networking principles
• Experience coding within a publish/subscribe architecture and middleware
• Experience with real‑time and non‑real‑time operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Vx Works
• Experience with model‑driven architecture tools and languages
• Ability to assess software complexity in quantitative terms and translate complexity to approximate time and cost to maintain
• Ability to define and track software metrics
• Ability to assess software changes for impacts relative to complexity and throughput
• Experience developing and assessing software development plans and associated documentation (software requirements, design, interface design, specifications, and SIM/STIM test cases)
• Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  processes and principles
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and SAFe Agile principles
• Experience and/or understanding of Scrum Master principles (or familiarity)
