REPORTS TO: SHIPPING DEPARTMENT MANAGER

SHIFT: MONDAY-FRIDAY 7AM-3:30PM

HOURLY RATE: $15.25

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and materials to customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transport, sort, and stock materials while maintaining accurate inventory control.

• Loads and unloads company vehicle after completing deliveries.
• Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, and notifying manager when routine maintenance is required to keep vehicle running properly.
• Delivers goods to clients while Interacting with the customer in a professional manner.
• Collects required signatures for payment, proof of delivery, and gives receipts to customers and return all required documentation to appropriate company officials.
• Observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
• Receives deliveries from parcel and freight customers and verifies shipment information.
• Ability to complete cycle counts, use inventory control methods, inspect labels and barcodes.
• Ability to cross train and assist Shipping Department as needed.
• Required to train to use Syspro, the company inventory control system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Familiarity with delivery practices and handling methods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (driving background check required)
• Ability to use a pallet jack (training will be provided).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally use ladders to access shelving above floor level.
