** Primary Duties
**** Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
** These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.
* Operate all material handling equipment including but not limited to flatbeds, shrink wrap and banding devices, hand trucks and dollies.
* Open containers attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
* Assists in all freight and material handling as needed.
* Counts, weighs, and records numbers of units of materials used or handled daily.
* Maintain appropriate records and reports to guarantee that inventory control and security is retained.
** Additional Responsibilities
*** Assist in physical inventories as required.
* Report to supervisor any damaged racks, faulty equipment, or other safety hazard.
* Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
* Assist with scheduled/unscheduled housekeeping of the loading docks and Warehouse storage areas.
* Complies and coordinates with all Dockmaster policies and procedures.
* Comply with OSHA guidelines.
* Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

* Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
*** High School diploma or General Equivalency diploma (GED) required.
* At least two years’ experience in a warehouse setting.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*** Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Good reading and writing skills.
* Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
