We are seeking Lane Verifiers, to work in the Blairs, Virginia warehouse.

The Lane Verifier keeps all conveyor lanes empty by scanning, palletizing and stacking cartons for order shipment.

• Stages empty pallets at the assigned conveyor lane.
• Use RF scanner on daily basis to scan Pallet , lane Bar Code and case bar codes
• Stacks scanned cartons onto the staged pallet, heavier cartons on the bottom, no taller than 77 inches.
• Immediately notify lane conductor of any incorrect items coming down conveyor
• Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
• A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Properly place and initial pallet  for every pallet.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and report discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Knowledge to use a pallet jack and an automated stretch wrap machine.
• Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math
• Three months prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners preferred.
• Shipping/dock experience preferred.

We offer competitive pay based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training, and geographic location.

The starting hourly pay rate is $13.75.

Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s compensation guidelines, and business needs.
