Job Description:

Bloomingdale International School in Vijayawada is seeking an experienced and dedicated MYP/DP Math Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and a strong background in teaching Mathematics within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Math lessons that align with the IB MYP and DP frameworks.
Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and student engagement.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic success.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary units and assessments.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and development.
Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with IB curriculum standards and best practices.
Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school’s mathematics curriculum.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Math in the IB MYP and/or DP.
Strong understanding of the IB framework and its implementation in the classroom.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
Commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
