To assist and support Reimbursement Specialists with their daily workload of accurately preparing claims for submission to outside payer sources and collect appropriate reimbursem

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Graduate or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills are necessary. Candidate should have strong organizational ability, detail oriented, possess problem solving skills and the ability to work independently. Must be competent in operating a computer, filing, typing and using the telephone. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.

Summary:

Provides general administrative support to Reimbursement Team

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides administrative and clerical support in accordance with department procedures
• Performs routine clerical duties such as data entry, filing, compiling and/or posting records, and photocopying as needed in the department
• Scans all reimbursement documentation into the patient financial chart. Scans all cash batches and EOBs.
• Prints, copies and distributes EOBs or other documentation as necessary.
• Provides general administrative support which may include entering correspondence details
