Seeking a part-time or PRN Optometrist with flexible availability for pay and schedule

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids as needed.
• Provide treatment for common eye problems, such as dry eyes, allergies, and infections.
• Monitor and manage chronic eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and primary care physicians, for co-management of patients.
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices, including the importance of regular eye exams and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies through continuing education and professional development.
