Creeks, Inc. as an Engineer in Training (EIT) on our Public Works team. This role offers an opportunity to work under the direction of a Project Engineer or Manager, focusing on civil engineering projects in the Visalia area.
$32 to $44 per hour (determined by experience and skill level).
ResponsibilitiesPrepare calculations, assist with technical reports, technical exhibits, and construction plans. Draft topographic surveys, perform spreadsheet calculations, write technical specifications, conduct site visits, and document site conditions for typical civil engineering projects. Primarily office‑based work with occasional field visits.
Minimum Qualifications- B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of plan preparation and engineering design for various projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Engineer‑in‑Training Certificate.
- Experience with AutoCAD (2009 or higher; Civil 3D preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
