Medical Assistant - P/T - Redding, CA (Healthcare)

This position is three days per week at our clinic in Redding, California. The clinic is focused on providing general healthcare to agriculture employees and their family members. Elite is seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, providing crucial support at our Redding health clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for offering comprehensive front and back-office assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of our healthcare facilities.

You may be asked to provide coverage at other clinics or at field events when requested by the client.

• Perform front and back office clinical tasks to support healthcare practitioner.
• Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
• Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques.
• Schedule appointments, manage medical records, and handle forms.
