Job Description:
The Chaplain is responsible for providing comprehensive Christian pastoral ministry to residents and staff of the correctional facility, as well as other services to inmates, staff, public officials, and the community to enhance ministry efforts.
Position RequirementsJob Duties:
Skills:
Preaching, teaching, counseling, administrative skills, volunteer facilitation, public speaking, correctional ministry experience.

- Agreement with the ministry doctrinal statement.
- Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bible or theology from a regionally accredited Bible/Christian college, or
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited seminary.
- Ordained, licensed, or commissioned according to their church or denomination before hire.
- 40-60 hours of volunteer or professional experience ministering to inmates in a correctional setting prior to application.
