The CVICU RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population. The CVICU RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

• Minimum of two years of CVICU health care experience preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
Only Certs: CA RN, BLS, ACLS Preferred:
Specialty certification and/or training program, TNCC 2 years of CVICU RN

Experience with travel and Fresh Heart 36 Hours assignment are also offered at $3,304 weekly.
