As a Field Installation Merchandiser Floater, you’ll collaborate with local store teams and fellow team members on new store installations, resets/remodel, and seasonal installations. You will support independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, and establish retailer relationships as the face of Hallmark. Occasionally, you may work with other brands in the stores Hallmark services. You will receive a schedule in advance for the accounts you’ll service.
The job includes removing product, dismantling and building/assembling fixtures, and placing products on display, ranging from a small reset on a 4-ft display to an entire department. A supervisory team will assign tasks to each Hallmark team member.
- Hourly pay rate: $16.80 – $18.90 depending on skills and experience.
- Eligible for annual pay increases.
- Part‑time position with variable weekly schedule.
- Average weekly hours: 2–10 hours.
- Availability required before and after major holidays, including weekends.
- Installation day engagement:
Manage assigned reset/installation activities—remove product and trash, dismantle fixtures, build fixtures, and display products. May involve evenings or weekend hours. Use the mobile device provided by Hallmark to communicate with your supervisor, provide feedback, answer surveys, and monitor inventory. - Holiday support:
Work additional days and extended hours during peak periods such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May require working on the holiday itself. - Team collaboration:
Support other team members as needed across territories. - Additional requirement:
Cover the geographical area of Visalia, Porterville, Tulare, and Corcoran. Must live within this area and be available to travel within it.
This is a physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and sense of urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Can regularly lift and carry products up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
