Field Service Technician
JBT Marel is a global leader in solutions for the food processing industry. As a Field Service Technician, you will install, commission, calibrate and maintain commercial equipment at customer sites.
Responsibilities- Install, commission, retrofit and service equipment for customers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of leased and sold equipment.
- Maintain parts inventory and place parts orders.
- Travel to customer sites and travel as required by the supervisor.
- Communicate issues to the Service Manager and supervisor.
- Work independently and handle emergency calls 24 hours.
- Keep company vehicle clean and maintain vehicle records.
- Support internal departments with platform testing and customer support.
- Attend customer meetings regarding operation of equipment.
- 3–5 years of field service experience preferred.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Valid HI driver’s license within 3 months of assignment.
- Willingness to travel and work up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Ability to work independently and provide own hand tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle emergency calls.
